About Me

My name is Shelby Lambert. I am from Hessmer, Louisiana. I am a Registered Nurse with my Bachelors of Science in Nursing. I am a Lactation Counselor certified through Childbirth International, accredited by American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC). I volunteer with CENLA Pregnancy Center providing education to expecting mothers. I have met my own personal breastfeeding goal with many struggles. Through my own experience I have realized the importance of support through all the trial and tribulations that can come with breastfeeding. I began this journey as a Lactation Counselor to help mamas reach their goal and empower them to do the thing they were made to do. I like to focus on helping mamas after their hospital stay, because that’s where I feel that support is most needed. I want to make sure you have all the tools you need to have the breastfeeding journey that is deserved by every mama and baby. I believe counseling, education, and support will bring you to your goal. I would love to help get you there!
